Roswell Regional Hospital was Acquired by Lovelace Health System, Inc., Subsidiary of Ardent Health Services, Inc.

Transaction Announcement
Ponder & Co. is pleased to announce that Roswell Regional Hospital, located in Roswell, New Mexico, has been acquired by Lovelace Health System, Inc., a subsidiary of Ardent Health Services, Inc. As a result of the acquisition, Lovelace Health System now owns five acute care hospitals in the state of New Mexico.

Roswell Regional Hospital
Roswell Regional Hospital, a physician-owned hospital, was founded as an ambulatory surgery center in 1999 before being converted to an acute care hospital in 2007. The hospital is licensed for 26 beds. The transaction also includes Roswell Regional’s family care clinic.

Lovelace Health System, Inc.
Lovelace Health System, Inc. consists of five acute care hospitals, one rehabilitation hospital and the Lovelace Health Plan, which has more than 220,000 members. Lovelace offers access to a wide range of healthcare providers and specialists across New Mexico.

Ardent Health Services, Inc.
Ardent Health Services Inc., based in Nashville, Tennessee, is an investor-owned company which owns and operates eleven acute care hospitals, a rehabilitation hospital, a multi-specialty physician group, the Lovelace Health Plan, retail pharmacies and a nationally recognized medical laboratory. The company’s two major healthcare systems are based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Ponder’s M&A Group advised Roswell Regional Hospital on the asset sale, managed the controlled auction process and negotiated the terms and conditions of the transaction.
