Ms. Means re-joined Ponder in 2011, having worked at the firm for eight years during the 1990s, and has 40 years of experience providing investment banking and financial advisory services to healthcare systems, academic medical centers, senior living facilities and other not-for-profit organizations. She has extensive strategic capital markets experience with the full array of tax-exempt and taxable debt, loans, derivatives and credit products in the marketplace.
Previously, Ms. Means was managing the healthcare finance group at RBC Capital Markets, served as a senior investment banker with J.P. Morgan, founded an advisory firm specializing in senior living, as well as managed the health care group of a regional investment banking firm for two years during her 10 years in both Texas and Florida.
Ms. Means holds a B.B.A. in finance from The University of Texas at Austin and attended the graduate College of Business at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. She is a registered Municipal Advisor (Series 50).
