Mr. Delaney joined Ponder & Co. in 2022. Mr. Delaney has 16 years of healthcare investment banking experience involving capital market and M&A transactions with expertise in particular in the senior living, physician, health system, and academic medical center sectors.
Mr. Delaney has advised a multitude of senior living clients on successful transactions involving start-ups, expansions, refinancings, sales, acquisitions, and debt restructurings.
He has led numerous physician groups in sales and recapitalizations, and advised health systems and academic medical centers on affiliations with, investments in, and acquisitions of physicians.
Mr. Delaney has also completed a wide range of taxable and tax-exempt debt issuances for financial advisory clients.
Before Ponder Peter was a Managing Director at Raymond James, which he joined in 2012 following the firm’s acquisition of Morgan Keegan. Mr. Delaney joined Shattuck Hammond Partners, a division of Morgan Keegan, in 2007. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Vanderbilt University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He is a registered Municipal Advisor (Series 50).
